Brad Binns, Project Manager

“Project management and site experience drives me to mentor talent from within my team.”

Brad is a highly capable Project Manager with building and civil construction experience spanning almost 20 years. Brad’s career in construction began when he worked as a part-time labourer during high school, continuing this through to the final year of university.

Brad’s ground-up experience, starting in the field has provided an excellent foundation in gaining practical knowledge greatly shaped him as a Project Manager today.

Brad’s innate leadership skills bring out his team’s best strengths. He maintains a collaborative culture within New South Wales project teams, inclusive of the client, contractors, supplier and all stakeholders. On every project, Brad thinks like a neighbour and recognises the impact of our works in the community.

Joel Singles, Superintendent

CertIV Civil Construction Supervisor; CertIV Frontline Management; CertIV Training and Assessment

“Seymour Whyte is really a people business, where the people are the key to its success”

Joel began his career in construction in 1995 working across various labouring roles. Fast forward twenty years and he has risen through industry ranks, now employed at Seymour Whyte as a Superintendent.

Joel provides leadership to his site based crews, working on large, difficult, technical projects that require a lot of planning and constant challenges. With projects that include large scale earthworks, very high live traffic brownfield sites, large detailed structures and complex service relocation, Joel supports the business by delivering these complex projects to the highest standards without compromise to safety and quality.

Ravi Prashad, National Environmental Manager

BEng(Chemical); MEng (Environment)

“Seymour Whyte is a great workplace, where senior managers motivate and influence staff to give their personal best and work together as a team.”

Ravi began his career as a Chemical Engineer, however it was his true passion in Environmental Sustainability, which led to him to complete a Masters in Environmental Engineering in 2004.

The environmental focus evident on Seymour Whyte’s construction sites has been possible because of Ravi’s collaborative communication style and practical approach. Ravi’s ground-up training has provided him with a complete understanding of how to manage the environmental aspects and impacts of major infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Seymour Whyte in 2012, Ravi held management roles on the $425 million Trackstar Alliance, $4.8 billion Airport Link and $388 million Bundamba Advanced Water Treatment Plant.

Ravi is an excellent role model with his consistent hands-on and passionate approach to the environmental and overall performance of a project.
