The Ipswich Motorway Upgrade, between Dinmore and Goodna involves the design and construction of an eight lane upgrade to the existing motorway over the top of the existing alignment. Works include significant earthworks, bridges, interchanges, structures and ground treatments, including the filling of old coal mines.
Seymour Whyte Constructions is delivering the project in an Alliance with the client Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads, contractors Abigroup and Fulton Hogan and designers, Parsons Brinckerhoff, and SMEC.
The project is due for completion in 2012.
