Seymour Whyte Constructions Pty Ltd has been awarded the contract to carry out the upgrade between Narooma Road and Corkhill Drive at Central Tilba, 13 kilometres south of Narooma.
The value of the project awarded to Seymour Whyte is approximately $20m. The project duration is expected to be 85 weeks with work commencing on the project by the end of June 2011.
The 3.2 kilometre Princes Highway upgrade at Victoria Creek will significantly improve road safety by removing a number of tight bends and providing an overtaking lane in both directions on this section of the Princes Highway.
The project includes a new bridge which will be built over Victoria Creek to replace an existing narrow bridge.
The project is funded by the NSW State Government and the Principal will be the NSW RTA.
