RANKED NUMBER 26 on the list, Seymour Whyte Constructions came into being in 1987 when John Seymour and Garry Whyte, both ex senior project managers with John Holland , set up their own company. Initially, they bid on smaller road projects und expanded from there. "While we still have a fair core business in road projects, we also operate in other areas where our skills and capabilities can be utilised.  These include aquatic facilities, and energy and water projects," says CEO Brian Riggall. The company has also expanded into NSW, where it is currently involved in the delivery of projects valued at around $300m.
