Civil Engineering Scholarships

Seymour Whyte is committed to investing in the civil engineers of the future. Recipients of the scholarship receive $2,500 each semester of their final two years of study (maximum four semesters), along with the prospect of industry placement in our Undergraduate Vacation Program. 

You also have the opportunity to undertake under and post graduate employment designed to assist you in achieving your academic and professional goals.

Scholarship eligibility criteria
You must: 

1. be either Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
2. be studying a civil engineering degree at an Australian tertiary institution
3. not be under bond or committed in any way to an employer, or a holder of another scholarship of significant value 
4. be keen to pursue a career in the civil construction industry 
5. be full time students studying a 100% loading according to the university’s subject weighting policies 
6. maintain a GPA of a credit or above with tertiary results
